Hillbilly surprise

A city-dwelling man and his friend, a hillbilly from the mountains, were having a friendly chat one day over the telephone.
Hillbilly: You know, friend, I want to be like you someday. I want to have a wife, and some kids, and I want my kids to be successful, like your kids.
City-dweller: Really?
Hillbilly: Sure thing, friend. And I want my kids to grow up smart, maybe becoming doctors, or lawyers, or even scientists.
City-dweller: Really?
Hillbilly: Not only that, but I want them to be physically fit, able to run marathons, lift twice their weight, and win gold in the Olympics!
City-dweller: Really?
Hillbilly: Absolutely. And, one more thing---I want them all to have a full set of white, unchipped teeth. Boy, that would be a dream, wouldn’t it?
City-dweller: My friend, that’s perfectly normal.
Hillbilly: Really? |
