lol i agree that we lose our sheet music a LOT but i rarely see a band member carrying a heavy ass drum and playing music 10 times harder than some stupid wind instrument....id like to see these dumbasses pick up a pair of sticks and then try to make fun of us! |

lol thats an okay joke i guess. im a drummer but i dont take it personally because a lot of drummers just pick up da stix and bang on the drum to pretend they actually know sumthing about how to play when they’re really just a bunch of fucked up assholes! they’re not really drummers at all, just posers all the way! specially the people in my band! i’d like to kick their stupid asses for making the rest of us look bad and giving you a reason to write jokes like that! (dont tell but i lose over 30% of the sheet music i get! its way easier to memorise the stuff anyway! its all bout what feels right not what some composer dude thinks it should be!) we need better band jokes! no offence meant! lylas

Why does it matter if drummers can’t read music? My boyfriend plays the drums without sheet music and plays better than the band geek drummers who use sheet music. |

I sit right in front of the drummers in my band and so I look back at them every now and them... They’re never using sheet music though, they have it all memorized. Whether they can or can’t read sheet music... I guess we’ll never know... |

1. That is just dumb when people say drummer can’t dont anything.
i would like to see the fucking woodwinds section actually play for once during marching band. They always fak etheir playing . Drummer dont because their talented.
2.I would like to see people doing sixlet spilts on bass drums at tempo 160 or 1 handed split rolls or blazing mallet runs at 200.
3.sheet music is anything rythmical or with notes. Concert snare drum music is just as important as anyone else in the band so stfu barisaxman.
4.Its easy to clap a rythm but to play it with sticks is another thing.
5. teh movie drumline just completley sucked soooo bad
Sure brass and woodwind player are talented in some ways but when you mock percussionist dont. I would like to see you step in someones shoes for a day i mean cmon you know how hard it is to play with four mallets or tune timpani every bar. |

But the person with the drumline comment (i play saxophone ) the kid isn’t really even playing it’s a bunch of shit the one time they show him and not just moving hands he is just sooo far off it’s unbelievable...sry that was bitchy but i hate that movie so much |
