What the hell is wrong with trumpets? Just because trumpets tend to have the melody most of the time and the music calls for them to play loud, does not give any of you the right to bash trumpets. The joke wasn’t even about trumpets and I don’t think there was any trumpets commenting and bashing any of you guys. I am not taking sides, but seriously....you call yourselves musicians.....grow up and stop being total jackasses. Respect your fellow musicians.
the band is one. no matter how many people or types of instruments. The band is one group of people coming together for a common cause...to make music.
That’s what I am in band for, not to knock other instruments. |

Ok. How bout this, i play the oboe and flute. The flute is very difficult to play and is a beautiful instrument. and the oboe, as many reed instuments are require skill, so ur not dumb if u play them.

oh and by the way, i have a feeling that someone who dosnt like this message is gonna comment about how bad (they think) the oboe sounds. Well b4 even start it takes great skill to play it, u try, and it takes class and culture to realize what a beautiful instrument it really is. |
