Dumb Blondes!

There was a posh woman and she had some painters coming to paint her house. So, she went up to the first painter in the lounge and said to him,
"I would like a cream colour for the lounge , nice and refreshing." So, the painter got out his notebook, wrote the colour, put his head out of the window and shouted, "Green side up!" The lady went up the stairs, a bit confused. Eventually, she got into the bathroom, where the painter was now. "Yes..." she said, "I would like a light blue in here, a lovely peaceful colour. The painter wrote this down in his notebook and then yet again, much to woman’s astonishment, went to the window, looked out and said loudly "Green side up". They then proceeded to the bedroom and the woman declared that she would like a nice warm pink to which the painter made another note in his book, walked over to the window and said "green side up". The woman was so bewildered and annoyed that she said to the painter "I really can’t understand why on earth you keep looking out of my windows and shouting green side up whenever I tell you what colour I want, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS???
The painter replied " Oh sorry Madam, you see there are three blondes outside laying a lawn for me in the garden across the road !!". |
