AAA - An American Abroad

An American went up to Canada by car and quite relaxed listen to the radio:
"..URGENT MESSAGE to all drivers! All using QEW beware of a car travelling counter to the traffic*..." ---
so he murmurs to himself:
- What is he talking about? One car? Rather all of them!!
*(sorry but I have no idea how you say it - driving on the left side) |

Nice joke, but I think I told you this before you posted this, us canadians do drive on the right side of the road, I like this version better,
An old man was going home after visiting his son. This old man was about 86 years old and not too attentive. Meanwhile, his son was watching the TV and saw a news report that a car was on the wrong side of the road, on the same highway that his dad was driving on. After hearing this, he called him up on his cell and told him the news. The old man replied.

I read it the other way - it is not the problem of driving on the right or left side (eg. europe vs. England), but it simply refers to the stupid american driver.
as a matter of fact I heard it as a ’blond’ joke and she wasn’t English or European in England - it was just stating how stupid blonds supposedly are - exactly as musch as Americans.,.. ha ha |

Jamal - the funny side of it for me is that he thinks he’s right and all of the rest is wrong (quite true for blondes and Americanc - ha ha)... not so difficult for me :o) |
