first of all a gt500 isnt a foctory ford product so that dont ccount and a mater affact it isnt even a for its a shelby shelby upgraded cars for dodge to and fords do suck i had one 86 thousand miles had to put a new trans in in suposidly there best truck ever the powerstroker but to be honest "Id rather be CUMMIN than Strokin" but thats my opinion all you little boys with your fords get a real truck |

The GT500 sucks nuts! So do ALL imports. The Boss 429 is better than the gt 500 and a 427 Nova, 427 Chevelle, 454 LS6 Chevelle, 427 Camaro, and the 427 L88 Corvette can all beat it. And not that I am a dodge guy but the hemi and the 440 car could beat it too. |

Well this is for the guy that said how every other car but fords are for speed and how they are true musle cars man do u know what kinda horse power diffence came from the 302 and 350 they were about the same. and if u go to the 351 in the 69 -70 mustangs they would out run any 350 or 360 dodge so before you say things read up on them and for the guy that said he would rather be cummin then stroking you do know who owns the cummins engine its ford man so dodge just has a ford engine in their trucks |

My buddy has an 03 cobra and he only pulls me by a hood when we race, i recently installed a cam and should be kicking his ass, built ls1/ls6 is the way to go, no replacement for displacement!! except a lot of boost.

my reasoning
you say weight, i say weight reduction (a stripper) + traction (tubbed)+ boost (a badass twin turbo set up)+ NItrous+ fully built ls1+ solid rear end=rape
i say any car can be fast, but if you really wanna come out on top there really is no replacement for displacement, a 5.7 ltr wont have trouble at all spooling a twin setup
take nascar for example, they use big engines for a reason, whens the last time you saw them throw a turbo four or 6 banger out there?! thats right, they havn’t!
i’m not saying six or four bangers cant be fast, but if you want to be the fastest, an 8 cyl. is your best bet in the end

No the 67 shelby Mustang Reached 0 to 60 in 4.8 sec and had a top speed of 133mph but still did a better 1/4mile than the dodge charger dodge challenger or the chevy corvet or camaro or anything else during its time and they made 3225 67 mustangs 2048 of them were GT500 1175 of them were GT350 and the other 2 were only prototypes. and if you dont believe me look it up. |
