the reason why fords are better. Ford’s technology is so much more better than chevies. you take a your chevy 5.7 litre motor agains ford 4.6 litre. what are the qaurter mile times. not much huh sad. sucks when you have to have the bigger motor to beat ford. chevy should build a 4.6 motor and see what happens for would put them to shame. now if ford built a 5.7 litre motor your little fiber glass light weight weak motored corvette might as well be scrap in the junk yard, and re-used to make a real car. so you can go on saying what you want about your worhthless money spending car. ill choose ford and you can choose that heap you drive on the weekends and charish it. ohh and if you still want a challenge with your chevy corvette and a Ford Mustang just remember how many different models and motor sizes and applications there are to fords. your z06 and lingenfelter are nothing ford has to worry about. so when chevy steps up to technology then we can actually argue this. |

Come on people, at least artuculate your points properly... Ford and Chevy both, as a general rule, suck. But both, like most manufacturers, have their flagship model. Chevrolet has the Corvette, which has remained a solid performer since its birth. Ford’s Mustang was ruined by the 70’s emissions reg.s and never recovered. It suffered horrible designs and weak motors even up to the present day. The new (’05) ’Stang finally has a decent body, but it is overshadowed by the abomination that is the new Ford GT. The GT40 deserved better than that. American manufacturers have begun to try and elicit emotions and sales based on model names from the past. There are new versions of the Thunderbird, the Mustang, the GTO, the Charger...even the revered GT40. And they all suck. |

pt. 2: Of the lot, the new GT is the only one to even come near doing justice to the original. The rest are ugly, enemotional appliances. The Corvette at least is an evolution of its former self, holding its own in the highly competitive world of sports cars. And for the record, SUVs are useless heaps of crap, and trucks, if you dont haul stuff regualarly, you shouldnt have them. I drive a 1973 Mini... it handles better than anything ever made in America, and I get better mileage than you could even dream of (45 city, 77 highway). Oh, and it gets compliments and smiles from everyone, even guys who drive new Vipers, Ferrari 355 F1s, and Lamborghinis. |

Foun On Road Dead. I have had all three full ton trucks and the best one I have ever owned is a 2003 3500 Duramax silverado. 300,000 miles on it with no mechanic time except regular maintenance. Powerstroke lasted 1300 miles and the rod went through the block, Cummins was decent but the Dodge it was in was the worst build vehicle I have ever seen,The frame bent with 2 cubes of 12" concrete block and some cement. |

Ok, I have owned a lot of cars from Ford, Chevy, And, Chrysler. Each of which had there own problems I will admit that. To the point My choice is Ford, least amount of problems in a ten year period, followed closely by Chrysler which is why I think Ford guys should realize that Chryslers are pretty good cars not too fast, but well made. As for Chevy well, they have there problems, but if your gentle they do last, but with a rod knock and clouds of blue smoke and 6psi of oil pressure, ha ha ha chevy does suck dont they.

I have owned Ford, Chevy, and dodge. They all had certain problems and overall the Ford was the best. All the trucks were the same year, motor size, and same set up. The dodge had good engine power, but its tranny sucked. So I let my workers drive it. I wouldn’t haul anything with it. The Chevy had a shitty motor in it, it always broke down, thought the parts were cheaper than the Dodge’s parts and the Ford’s parts. The 10-bolt rear end sucked and I could only pull the ditch witch with this truck. The Ford had awesome performance in all categories. The Ford had great power, torque was unbelievable, it had good suspension setup, low gears, and the body only rusted on the rear quarter panel and cab corners. |

The Chevy rusted faster than any Toyota pick up that I have ever seen. I am glad it hauled some of the small tools, because when it broke down the tools were close. The body of the dodge was better than the Chevy, but worse than the Ford. I still own the Ford to this day, I sold the dodge about 5 years back and I traded the Chevy for a newer ford after it was paid off. That was back in1989. To this day I have never seen a truck even compare to Ford. The trucks were gasoline V8’S. I feel sorry for the competition because ford owns International, Cummons, and Maxine diesel motors. Ok ya chevys are a piece of crap, i dont think any one as the room 2 b sayin all those things about fords, u know what chevrolet stands for Cracked,Head,Every,Valve,Rattles,Oil,Leaks,Engine,Ticks. Thats right a Ford Convertable Mustangs are the best, so what now. |

all cars have their down falls and ups climbs but chevy is all around the best 1997 lingenfelter corvette 0-60 in 1.7 sec thats rite faster than any factory modified ford Dodges are pretty nice also The only ford i would consider buying was a fairlane or crown vic EAT LINGENFELTER CHEVROLET EXHAUST JACK ROUSCHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
