as a 30 yr retired firefighter / truck 83 - competition and humor is needed between the crews in a firehouse. little fun jokes help releive the tention between the crews weather it be work or personal related tention. this was a good joke. (remember positive immage). |

I am a firefighter and it’s funny to me. A lot of people would not get that though. A Truckie does Search and Rescue, Forcible Entry, and Ventilation. The point of the joke is that Truckies cut holes in roofs for smoke ventilation and the joke is supposed to mean the real reason they do it is to watch (Real Fire Fighters) meaning the Engine company put out the fire. |
