this is your tipical uneducated crowd of chevy morons. lets go over the ford F-150, chevy
silverado,and the dodge. first of all the FORD hauls 9,900 pounds, chevy halls 9,100 and
dodge at 9,500 or close to it.
FRAME- the frame is like a ladder.. 2 crosmembers and your rails that connect them,
ultimatly this is what your whole truck rides on, you, your dog,truck body, and everything
your hauling.i watched a very interesting truck DVD that showed all 3 center pieces out of
the frame rail from the FORD,CHEVY,AND DODGE.. the fords was a 12 inch oval frame
rail (oval being much stronger then box shaped frame rail) the CHEVY had a useless 6
inch piece THAT WASN’T EVEN COMPLETELY BOXED! it was half a square..and the
dodge did decent 7 inch box that was FULLY boxed.

SUSPENSION- the ford mounted its struts much wider apart then all the trucks, 52 inches
the chevy is 32 and dodge around the same... if you mount the struts that wide = better
handling and more support when towing or hauling heavy loads.
FRONT END OF THE TRUCKS- i saw the front ends of all 3 trucks ( front end meaning
bumber,rad support,fenders and supports used to hold everything in place.).
lets start with the useless chevy, they had stripped the vinyl bumper cover off all the way
down the the engine. they took the fender off and guess what was there? NOTHING they
had no support for the fenders to hang on or the rad, guess were the rad support ext, in
the front end HUNG ON TOO! the fenders LOL..the only piece in the front end was a
bumper...

The DODGE made decent sized arms and joined it up at the front, but the ford was most
impressive with large arms coming from the firewall to the end of the truck, it was also
joined up in the front to complete the box which gives it a 5 star rating in frontal crash
tests. (as well as side impacts ext.)..that breaks the myth about chevy trucks..
( all these trucks were 2005 modles in the same class). |

lets talk about how CHEVY,DODGE, AND FORD keep there BOXES on there trucks.
dodge, welds there boxes on..go jump in the back of a dodge and listen to the welds
break, chevy uses 2 inch bolts, put enough strain on them and SNAP..ford uses 6 inch
bols that dig into the fram meaning that that box is put on there to stay.
and for you dodge guys out there, take your door and open it to the bump stops, now push
it past the bump stops and watch the body panel that the door hindge connects to flex,
this is mainly do to CHEAP DESIGN, take a ford and it wont do that.. |

compete with a 2006 SVT stang for $38,000 american, the GTO is much slower and looks
like a Cavilier on f*kin steroids. sad to say 4 u un educated chevy kids but fords trucks are
better, CARS are better, such as ford mustang,ford 500 with its AWD sitting on a VOLVO
PLATFORM, as well as the ford freestyle on a volvo platform. gto is sadly outhandled by
the SVT and 0-60 is a full secod difference from the GTO, i meen "CAVILIER" on steriods
and 1/4 mile is 2 seconds difference for the stang.... NAME SOME CARS CHEVY GUYS
