The people who gave military history the Massacres at Ft. Wiliam Henry and Monoghahela during the French and Indian War, the massacre at Bunker Hill during the American Revolution (the only thing that won the battle for the Brits was that the Americans ran out of ammo), Balaklava during the Crimean War, Isanhdlwana during the Zulu War, Gallipoli, the Somme, 1st & 2nd Ypres, during the First World War - not to mention Dunkirk and Arnhem during the Second World War, then almost lost a war to a third rate military power like Argentina during the Falklands has no business talking crap to anyone about getting British soldiers killed. It seems to me the guys most responsible for getting the most British soldiers killed are British generals. |

If you think Germany was a "little dot on the map" your an idiot. Even so -at the time of Operation Sealion (plan to invade Britain) Germany occupied half of Poland, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Most of France (exc Vichy) and most of Scandanavia.
