First of all the Beatles broke up in 1970 so make that six years. Second of all the it is pretty common knowledge that the Stones did quite a bit more drug using that the Beatles and were far more "psychadelic". I recomend smoking and watching or listening to some of their live stuff from the late 60’s early 70’s and I think you’ll understand what I’m talking about. You are right though the Stones deserve lots of respect for their longeveity. Other than that though they’re both good bands and its nothing to get all pissed about and write angry messages in capital letters. ooooohh not the caps lock again they must really be pissed. |

First of all the Beatles started ’Rock’. Nobody can compare to the Beatles,especially the Rolling Stones, they were and always will be the best. Best band ever = Beatles not the Rolling Stones. |

The Beatles wrote numerous amounts of songs and gave them to the Stones. When the Stones first started, Lennon-McCartney were already experienced, proffesional songwriters. How many number ones did the Stones have in forty years compared to the Beatles in six? Yeah, the Beatles tried something that makes sense: Keep people wanting more. |

You all need to shut up. Both, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, are good bands. I am more of a Beatles fan, but that’s probably because I was raised on them. Both deserve credit for being musicians. That’s it. End of story. |

The Beatles weren’t the first to do rock music, but they were a huge inspiration to many, including The Rolling Stones. They also were the ones who started ’The British Invasion’. Even though they haven’t been around for as long as The Rolling Stones, I know for a fact that they were more successful in six years than The Rolling Stones have been in forty. Even though they aren’t still together, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still writing and performing, just not in a band together. Paul has had plenty of hit songs on his own, and Ringo is doing well too. I like The Rolling Stones, but I do not think that they could ever do what The Beatles did. |

The Beatles are the best band ever. There will NEVER be another band that even comes close to the Beatles. But the Rolling Stones are good. Only thing is, I don’t like how they did "I Want To Be Your Man". At least not as much as the Beatles. |

Since when does it matter which band is "better?" Both bands would be annoyed that people are arguing over it. Both bands have good music, and it’s possible to like both.
